Launched in Oman in May 2009, and further established by Ministerial Decision, Outward Bound Oman is an educational not for profit organization which has a clear focus on the capacity building of Omani talent. We design and deliver inclusive and active experiential learning courses across the natural landscapes of Oman which help people realise that they are capable of achieving more than they think.

Outward Bound Oman is part of a leading international network of Outward Bound schools with centres in more than 30 countries across the world. We are also proud to be the first Outward Bound school in any Arabic speaking country.

Our immersive, outcome driven programmes are tailored to the specific needs of the participants to help them become more confident, effective and capable, be it in school or college, or in their workplace setting. Our courses are designed to inspire and motivate people, and take place in the natural environment, away from distractions. Most courses operate out of one of our three purpose-built national training centres, located in Muscat, Sharqiyah Sands and Jabal Akhdar.
