With over 30 years of experience in multinational development projects, Olayinka Fayomi has been instrumental in facilitating investments across several African nations. As a pioneer director of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) under the presidency, Ms Fayomi has held various influential positions worldwide, contributing to the Nigerian National Vision 2020 team, serving as a juror on the BBC World Challenge and serving as a governor of the Brent Council in the UK in 2005.
Founder and chairperson of the Foreign Investment Network (FIN), she has organised more than 50 international conferences and seminars, focusing on crossborder investment, entrepreneurship, project financing and promoting local content in foreign-investment projects. She actively shares insights on how AI and blockchain can transform investment landscapes in Africa, enhance project financing and drive sustainable development.
In 2004, she founded the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Network. Her capacity-building activities have earned her global recognition, including being named the Most Dynamic Nigerian Female in Diaspora by the Financial Standard newspaper in 2007 and the Global Women Champion for Leadership in Business and Entrepreneurship in America by GC4W.
She holds a master's degree in business administration, a BSc (honours) in economics and a national diploma in business computer science.
