Shaima is a pioneer and thought leader, a dynamic, self-starter, expert and innovator in sustainability, community development and social investment with over 20 years of experience across a wide spectrum of industries in Oman working with leading companies and governments. Shaima has initiated and led successful projects throughout her career in multinational organisations. Al Lawati has mixed experience in developing, leading, implementing, managing and evaluating projects for different companies and governmental bodies as well as civil society sectors. Her experienced areas include sustainability strategies and reporting, training, branding and communications, stakeholder engagement, human capital development (women, youth, the persons with disabilities etc), innovation, women entrepreneurship, and business responsibility, driving business excellence with the support of various business functions touching environment, social, economic and governance aspects). Over the years, Shaima held numerous leadership positions in different organization such as OQ, Shell, Bank Muscat, Vale Oman, and Intilaaqah Oman.
