About
Renewable energy capacity is expanding worldwide. Yet integrating renewable power into existing power grids remains complex. Solar and wind are important for decarbonisation but their intermittent nature requires additional solutions to ensure stability. For regions like the Middle East, where vast deserts offer high solar and wind potential, interconnectors and advanced transmission systems are key to linking resources to demand. What strategies can maintain reliable power delivery? This session will examine technological innovations, grid modernisation and storage advancements that support effective renewable integration.
