Mohamed Najwani is a dynamic and motivated wells professional with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is currently the vice-president of wells for BP in the Middle East and North Africa, overseeing the safe operations of wells in the region. Before joining BP, he worked for Petroleum Development of Oman for eight years as part of their wells team. Mr Najwani has gained extensive experience in technical and leadership roles, working on offshore and onshore wells operations in Oman, the US, the UK and Egypt on various well types from concept to completion. He plays a key role in transforming and reinventing BP as a net zero energy leader, with the objective of developing BP Oman’s net zero roadmap to 2050. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MSc degree in petroleum engineering.
